Powersoft launches Nota ‘ultra-compact’ amplifier at ISE 2025

Powersoft has debuted its Nota ultra-compact PoE/PoE+ amplifier, with USB-C connectivity and 140W of power.

Featuring a built-in DSP and remote monitoring/control, the Nota amplifier is designed for AoIP applications where space is limited, featuring two channels of audio for commercial, conferencing, and retrofit installations.

The Nota transmits power and data via a single Ethernet connection to minimise wiring complexity, with the amplifier including speaker health monitoring functionality and full control via Powersoft’s ArmoníaPlus software and third-party APIs.

Nota’s USB-C connectivity allows for integration with external multimedia devices, functioning as a USB-to-AES67 converter for improved system flexibility while automating set-up automatically to match the impedance curve of connected speakers and applying a high-pass filter.

The amplifier is rated for plenum mounting in enclosed spaces, with an included kit which allows multiple installation configurations on flat surfaces, poles, and DIN rails. Remote monitoring functionality is also available via Powersoft’s Verso gateway and MyUniverso software for real-time diagnostics.
