RCF has launched the Compact C WP two-way loudspeakers for demanding outdoor applications.
The combination of purpose-designed transducers, advanced crossover, waterproof protection and IP 67 connectors, produces coherent coverage to the listening area with distortion-free sound.
Features include a 1.5 mm steel protection grille, heavy-duty polyurea coating, multiple rigging points and dedicated accessories and rotatable constant directivity waveguide.
Both Compact C32 and C 45 can be used either in vertical or horizontal configurations. When used horizontally, the horn can be rotated 90°. Each model can be flown, wall- or truss-mounted using the multiple M8 and M10 threaded inserts and optional accessories.
RCF transducers feature advanced materials such as neodymium magnets and 3-in or 4-in pure titanium diaphragms. Both drivers and woofers are designed by RCF engineers in Italy. The internal crossover frequency is set at a lower frequency than normal, resulting in a clear and accurate vocal reproduction with dynamic, active MOSFET protection.
The special waveguide design allows for control of Compact C speakers and provides directional characteristics. In difficult acoustic environments, intelligibility is increased. Using the optional HN-KIT Compact C 32 C 45 accessory, installers can replace the speaker horn by choosing 100° x 25° or 60° x 25° directivity.
The weatherproof birch plywood cabinet is made with Amphenol eco|mate IP 67 connectors. Its textured polyurea coating provides scratch resistance and greater longevity compared to traditional finishes. The front steel grille is powder-coated and fitted with an acoustically transparent, water-repellent fabric.
