Printable electronics manufacturer, Prelonic Technologies, has demonstrated the interaction of printable, paper content with mobile devices, developing a functional paper piano.
The technology works by printing a user interface, adding conductive layers of carbon and a computer chip, using a mobile phone’s NFC antenna to power the device externally in combination with a companion app.
The piano serves as a demonstration of the technology, opening the technology up to a number of applications including marketing, learning materials, training/information and more.
A video demonstrating the technology can be found here.
