Plasa stages afternoon of talks focused on improving business practises
Plasa will focus on ways to build culture, continuity and resilience when it hosts a Member Business Forum at the Victory Services Club in London on March 29.

An afternoon of talks aimed at offering advice on how to improve business practises will be followed by networking and drinks.

Keynote speaker William Rogers will deliver a talk on ‘Leading Culture Change’. He appeared in the Sunday Times Top 100 “Best Leader” of a mid-sized company for three years in a row. Rogers created an insurance broker business which he sold to Towergate Insurance. He now serves on the board for Stage Electrics, Your Harrogate by Magnetiz (a local digital platform), and Startle (a digital music supplier).

HR specialist Nicky Gleadow, who owns and runs The HR Point consultancy, will deliver a talk on ‘Building Employee Retention’. Gleadow is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and holds a Masters in Employment Law (LLM).

John Robinson, director of Inoni and a business continuity and resilience professional, will speak on ‘Dodging Bullets: Practical Resilience’. Robinson is a Fellow of the Business Continuity Institute and is a recipient of its Lifetime Achievement Award.

Peter Heath, managing director of Plasa, said: “Following on from our first in-person AGM just a couple months ago, we’re delighted to return to the Victory Services Club in March for our Member Business Forum. With all the challenges our industry is still facing, the aim of the forum is to generate conversation and offer solutions for short-term and long-term business success, along with an opportunity for members to network.”

Members of Plasa can attend the forum free-of-charge, with up to two members of a team able to attend. Non-members can purchase tickets from March 13 for £55+VAT. Places can be booked at plasa-member-forum-2023.eventbrite.co.uk
