Teracue says it can send full HD content and high-resolution imaging from digital signage players to IPTV set top boxes with the MC-SCREEN HD software encoder.
MC-SCREEN is installed directly on a PC and encodes local desktop- and screen applications. HD-resolution for detailed capturing of video, text, and fine picture textures is supported. MC-SCREEN transmits HD/SD unicast and multicast streams in H.264 and MPEG-2.
The product is compatible with the Teracue IPTV product line-up for playback and recording. Further compatibility has been achieved with VideoLAN VLC player, Amino set top boxes and any third party ISO/IEC standard compatible set top boxes.
