Lumens has unveiled its first multi-format decoder to support NDI HX3, Dante Audio, Dante AV-H, and RTSP with simultaneous USB-C and HDMI out, as well as PIP and side-by-side PIP HDMI output.
The OIP-N60D-ND allows integrators to combine network audio and video sources on a single IP infrastructure, supporting video streams up to 2160p60, allowing users to select and switch instantly between IP sources as well as output video via HDMI 2.0 or USB-C for display, videoconferencing, recording, and production applications.
The decoder receives streams from network sources including Lumens OIP Bridge encoders, NDI cameras, playout servers, and Dante Audio devices, designed for installation on standard Gigabit Ethernet networks for AV transmission without point-to-point cabling.
Network video and audio can be converted to HDMI and USB-C, outputting standard UVC and UAC signals for use with videoconferencing platforms and software applications. USB webcam and speakerphone extension over IP allows cameras and audio devices to be positioned at a distance from the host computer while maintaining USB connectivity at the endpoint.
PIP and PBL layouts are available, alongside support for videowalls up to 3x3. Bi-directional Dante Audio also allows flexible routing between networked audio systems and local devices, with web-based management to accelerate setup and simplify source selection, while instant source switching and Last-In Switch functionality automates the device in BYOD applications.
The device can also be PoE or USB powered to reduce cabling time and installation costs.
