WyreStorm has released its EX-40-KVM-H2 and EX-100-KVM-H2 extenders, designed to extend 4K video, USB, and control over a single cable.
Both models are designed to simplify remote workstation deployment across corporate, education, control, and professional AV environments.
Both models combine 4K60 4:4:4 HDMI, USB and control extension over a single category calbe, reducing cabling and simplifying system design.
The EX-40-KVM-H2 is designed for room-scale installations, extending 4K60 video and USB 2.0 up to 40 metres over Cat6/6a/7 cables. Four USB device ports are available at the receiver to provide connectivity for keyboards, mice, touchscreens and other peripherals, while audio de-embedding and RS-232 pass-through support integration into wider AV systems. Bi-directional PoC help reduce power and cabling requirements at the installation endpoints.
The EX-100-KVM-H2 extends 4K60 video and USB 2.0 up to 100 metres with a long reach mode, extending connectivity up to 150 metres. An HDMI loop-out at the transmitter also enables a local monitor or operator display without requiring an additional splitter, helping reduce system complexity and additional hardware.
