International integrator Electrosonic has appointed Steve Leyland as the executive chairman of the Electrosonic board.
Leyland has been a non-executive director and advisor on the Electrosonic board since July 2015 and has worked for many leading global technology companies during his career.
Philip Aminoff, who has served as Chairman of the Electrosonic board for the last 14 years, remains a director of the board, and chairman of Electrosonic’s parent company Helectron Oy Ab.
Leyland was a member of the Barco executive leadership team, prior to that, he was President, EMEA, for Polycom, he has also held senior executive roles at Intel Corporation in Europe and Dialogic Corporation in the USA.
