Coll-In gains HP and Poly compatibility - giving AV users more hardware flexibility
Future Software has confirmed compatibility between its Coll-In collaboration software and HP and Poly devices following a programme of compatibility testing.

The testing is intended to allow organisations using HP and Poly hardware to add Coll-In to existing meeting, learning and presentation environments without replacing current displays, computing or collaboration technology.

Coll-In is a hardware-agnostic software platform designed for interactive displays, LED walls and videowalls. It allows users to combine documents, websites, video, applications and live content within a single workspace, with tools for real-time annotation and saving sessions for later use.

The platform is available in three versions. Coll-In Room is aimed at meeting rooms and classrooms, Coll-In Table at collaborative table environments, and Coll-In Stage at lecture theatres and larger presentation spaces.

Future Software said the HP and Poly compatibility expands the range of hardware environments in which the platform can be deployed.

“Compatibility is incredibly important to us,” said Sotos Mandalos at Future Software. “Organisations have already invested significantly in their meeting room, classroom and display technology, so our aim is to help them get more from that investment rather than forcing them into an entirely new ecosystem.

“Confirming compatibility with HP and Poly gives our customers and partners even more flexibility when designing collaborative spaces around the technology they already know and trust.”

Future Software also supports Coll-In across a wider range of interactive displays and collaboration technologies, and can develop bespoke integrations and functionality for more specialised deployments.
