Powersoft updates ArmoníaPlus 2.8 withUnica T support

Powersoft has released its latest to ArmoníaPlus, version 2.8, adding Unica T support and new usability features.

The update improves usability through improved navigation, streamlined tuning, and device management, while also introducing support for Powersoft’s Unica 8T and 4T amplifiers by offering multiple improvements designed for large-scale system configuration via workspace.

Tuning and device management has seen improvements, as well as enhanced group assignment for improved visualisation. When a speaker is selected, its associated group names are highlighted in blue, designed to make navigation between elements and verifying assignments in the system quicker.

The new update also adds configuration and preset enhancements, using an applied preset to display directly on speakers which allows users to edit preset application and manufacturer’s EQ categories across multiple speakers simultaneously, even if models do not match, providing that they share the same configuration options.

Also introduced is a new channel strip mode, unifying multiple tuning functions such as gain, mute, EQ, delay, and polarity, for more intuitive adjustments. The mute and solo pages have been combined into a single mute/solo page, with solo mode offering both exclusive and additive options.

Other features included in the update are display read-only mode for the Unica series, designed to improve security in unattended systems, with bugfixes to increase the stability of the communication protocol in busy networking scenarios.

Improved device selection and power manager features also enable users to quickly power devices on/off or manage eco-mode settings without leaving the workspace.
