Riedel Communications has played a central role in enhancing the Transformation Church, deploying a comprehensive communications system built around the Artist intercom ecosystem.
The system includes an Artist-1024 matrix, Bolero wireless beltpacks, headsets, and SmartPanels to support its expanding production operations.
The Transformation Church relies on fluid communication between directors, camera operators, lighting teams, audio engineers, stage managers, and broadcast staff to deliver both live and online experiences. The church required a communications system that could deliver flexibility, scalability, and reliability.
Diversified designed and deployed the system, with the integrator putting an Artist-1024 intercom matrix supported by more than 50 Bolero wireless beltpacks across 39 antennas, more than 40 1200 series SmartPanels in both 1RU and 2RU configurations alongside more than 90 Riedel headsets in PRO and AIR variants.
The system supports teams working across the organisation’s three-story venue, including a 3,000 seat auditorium, production control rooms, studios, meeting spaces, and children’s ministry areas.
The church’s general crew run earmuff headsets, while staff with specialised roles use custom single and dual ear configurations on the same system. Beltpacks also support Bluetooth pairing, allowing IFBY-style host monitoring and personal calls to route through a single headset without device changes mid show.
SmartPanels have streamlined operations by providing colour-coded interfaces that help users quickly identify channels, groups, and priority communications. The Artist matrix also gives operators per-source volume control, allowing individual levels to be adjusted on the back end without affecting the rest of the team.
