Designed as the centrepiece of Plazamedia’s new extended reality (XR) studio, Alfalite supplied a 120-sq.m L-shaped LED wall, integrated with Mo-Sys technology.
The new studio, ‘briX|woRk.studio’, is designed to offer new application options for productions with a combination of XR, AR and VR for film/production companies, broadcasters, advertising agencies and more.
Alfalite’s Modularpix Pro VP XR panels were used, featuring 1.9-mm pixel pitch, opical parameters and cd/m2 brightness, providing optimal viewing angle stability and filming options from unconventional camera angles. The 24-metre wide and five-metre high LED wall can also be expanded into a 360 degrees space through augmented reality.
The LED wall is integrated with Mo-Sys’ Startracker, Cinematic XR Focus and bMR, using MoSys’ rel-time render engine, Unreal Engine 5.1, integrated into the studio.
Parameters such as time of day and weather conditions can be reproduced and defined individually.
