Panasonic has added the PT-MZ880 series of projectors suitable for use in corporates, education and museums.
The new Series features PT-MZ880 (8,000 lumens), PT-MZ780 (7,000 lumens), and PT-MZ680 (6,000 lumens) WUXGA models with a refined Multi-Laser Drive Engine for a balance of brightness, colour and visibility in well-lit rooms.
7 optional lenses cover situations needing a throw-distances ranging from 0.330:1 to 7.12:1. Compatible lenses include the new Zero-Offset Ultra Short Throw Zoom lens, ET-ELU20, with 0.330–0.354:1 (WUXGA) throw ratio, 1.07x zoom and wide lens-shift range of Vertical: +-50 %, Horizontal: +-24
Cooling efficiencies limit noise to 26 dB (PT-MZ780/MZ680) or 28 dB (PT-MZ880), allowing audiences to focus on projected content during face-to-face or virtual conferences.
For immersive application in museums, Geometry Manager Pro with Free Grid helps installers blend adjacent images over flat or curved screens, the software deepening functionality of built-in Edge Blending function for professional results.
Smart Projector Control is a remote-control app for iOS and Android devices that can be used to adjust, control, and monitor up to 64 projectors individually or simultaneously from anywhere within range of the wireless network. You can use the app to switch the unit on or off, select an input signal, and adjust the projector’s OSD menu settings via your device’s touchscreen while the projector is in standby or powered up with the shutter on.
PT-MZ880 Series supports uncompressed 4K/60p signal input via HDMI or Digital Link terminals. Separate LAN and HDBase-T-based Digital Link terminals allow 100Base-TX- and 10BaseT-compatible control signals via Panasonic, Crestron, AMX, and Extron applications.
