Thierry Ollivier has been appointed to the newly created role of EMEA business development manager in line with the company’s strategic expansion and client support programme in the region.
In his new role, Ollivier will support Digital Projection’s sales team in joint development of projects on three major projectors and technologies designed for specific markets: the INSIGHT 4K HFR 360 for VR applications, the INSIGHT 8K for broadcast, simulation and planetarium applications and the
Satellite MLS (modular laser system) to be showcased at ISE 2020.
Ollivier commented: “My first task in the role will be to conduct a thorough market analysis based on findings as well as my own experience, before moving to prospection and promotion, in order to demonstrate the superiority of these key visual innovations.
“The Satellite MLS, in particular, is a major innovation in projection technology; apart from the new sources of laser and 8K DLP technologies pioneered by Digital Projection, there has been little advancement of this scale in the last few years. It has the potential to be a major technological breakthrough with the right promotion.”
Ollivier’s appointment is effective immediately.
