digiLED has been awarded Made in Britain status for digiLED ZEUS, its intelligent power-saving tool for giant LED screens.
Invented in the UK by digiLED head of technical, Tom Mudd, digiLED ZEUS is a globally patented energy and carbon-saving system for LED screens and more. It not only powers screens down so they use zero power when not in use, but also soft-starts these machines at the touch of a button when it’s time to wake them up.
The system is now live on more than 360+ installs worldwide, across stadia, arenas, immersive spaces, corporate sites and attractions.
Graham Burgess, founder and CEO of digiLED, said: “digiLED is founded on Britain’s engineering roots. Plenty of people in this team have spent decades at the sharp end of bespoke big screen design and installation, long before LED screens were a thing. Now more than ever we should be celebrating innovations that come out of the UK, especially when they are being built by our own people at our global HQ in Dorking. This is an achievement I am incredibly proud of."
