Sphere Entertainment has announced The Wizard of Oz at Sphere will debut a series of new and expanded 4D effects beginning Friday September 25.
The new and expanded 4D effects debuting in The Wizard of Oz at Sphere include: animatronic Winged Monkeys; themed scents; “Glinda Glitter;” pyrotechnic fireworks; and scented apples.
Jennifer Koester, Sphere President and Chief Operating Officer, stated: “At Sphere, we’re constantly exploring new ways to push the boundaries of immersive storytelling and create new experiences for our audiences. The upcoming enhancements to The Wizard of Oz at Sphere take some of the most memorable moments from the experience to the next level to immerse and transport audiences deeper into the world of Oz.”
