Datapath has delivered the visualisation and KVM infrastructure for a new Production Operations Control Centre (POCC) operated by Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) at its IPEOT facility in Panvel, India.
The 24/7 operations centre was developed to centralise monitoring and decision-making across ONGC’s production infrastructure, bringing together operational dashboards, live video feeds and collaborative workflows within a single environment.
To support the deployment, ONGC selected Datapath’s videowall and KVM technologies, with integration delivered by Pan Intellecom and distribution support from Mindstec Distribution.
At the centre of the installation is an interactive LED video wall powered by Datapath’s visualisation platform, enabling operators to view and control multiple systems and live sources simultaneously. The system supports side-by-side visualisation of SCADA systems, production dashboards, IP camera feeds, operator PCs and web-based applications without interrupting the primary operational display.
Integrated KVM functionality allows users to switch between sources through Datapath’s Aetria touch interface, supporting troubleshooting and operational decision-making within a unified workspace.
The installation also incorporates multi-touch and multi-user interaction, enabling collaborative workflows during incident response, shift briefings and executive reviews.
Datapath’s T1V platform was selected to support secure on-premises deployment and integration with unified communications systems, allowing operational visibility to extend beyond the main control room to adjacent spaces and remote users while maintaining control-room-grade performance.
Andy Lee, senior business development manager at Datapath, said the project was designed to support “demanding, round-the-clock operations” where rapid access to information and seamless collaboration are critical.
Ranbir Singh, director at PAN Intellecom, highlighted the importance of operational simplicity, noting that Datapath’s Aetria platform provided a “quick, responsive and seamless KVM control” experience for end users.
