Avex has announced four new hires to its management team, taking on Joost Deckers, Madelon van Leenen, Wissam Choucair and Erwin Schmitz.
Deckers [pictured above] joins the management board of Avex as managing director for the Avex Group, while also fulfilling the role of managing director for Avex Netherlands.
Deckers joins with more than 30 years of experience in the AV and IT industry, holding previous management positions at KPN, Talk & Vision, Ricoh and PinkRoccade Healthcare.
Joining on 1 October 2023, van Leenen takes on the role of chief financial officer within the Avex group, with a background in business administration and experience as CFO and managing director at a software automation company.
Choucair takes on the role of managing director, Avex UK, with managerial experience at companies within the lighting industry.
Schmitz joins the Avex management team from a previous position with Avex NL, with the objective of setting the course with the rest of the management team to strengthen the company’s market position.
