Henry Alexander joins BCE: broadcast veteran to lead international sales growth
BCE has appointed Henry Alexander as sales director as the company looks to expand its international business across the media, broadcast and technology markets.

Alexander [pictured above] will lead BCE’s commercial organisation, with responsibility for strengthening customer relationships, supporting international growth and increasing adoption of the company’s professional services, media applications, infrastructure, managed services and Media-as-a-Service portfolio.

He brings more than 25 years of experience across the media, broadcast and technology sectors, having held leadership positions at EVS, RTBF, SDNsquare, now part of Riedel Communications, and Mediapro Belgium.

His background includes international business development, live production, IP infrastructure, cloud technologies, managed services and digital transformation, with experience working for both technology providers and broadcasters.

In his new role, Alexander will work with BCE’s marketing, engineering, product and operations teams to develop its consultative approach to media technology projects, including the design, integration and operation of secure and scalable media environments.

“Today, organisations expect more than a technology provider - they need a trusted partner who understands their business challenges, shares their ambitions, and supports them throughout their transformation journey,” said Alexander.

He added that BCE’s Media-as-a-Service strategy is intended to connect media applications with hybrid and sovereign infrastructure and associated services as media environments become more complex.

Frédéric Fiévez, chief operating officer at BCE [pictured right], said Alexander’s experience leading international sales organisations across EMEA would support the company’s international expansion.

“His extensive experience leading international sales organisations across EMEA, combined with his ability to develop teams, grow customer relationships and deliver sustainable business expansion, makes him the ideal leader to strengthen our commercial organisation,” said Fiévez.

BCE provides media and technology services to broadcasters, content owners, sports organisations and media companies.
