Riedel Communications will use IBC 2026 to demonstrate an end-to-end IP production environment spanning image capture, signal transport, switching, replay, audio, monitoring, control and communications.
The company’s Live Production Experience will connect technologies including SimplyLive Production Suite Flex, MediorNet, SAME and the hi human interface, alongside Arri camera technology, to demonstrate how the systems can operate as a coordinated production workflow.
SimplyLive Production Suite Flex will be shown with new server configurations adding SMPTE ST 2110 to the platform’s existing support for SDI, SRT and NDI workflows. Riedel will also demonstrate SKAARHOJ control panel integration and new Venue Gateway options for live production, replay, review and contribution applications.
IBC will also mark the premiere of the MediorNet HorizoN ST 2110 MultiViewer App. The software brings multiviewing into the MediorNet processing environment, allowing signal transport, routing, processing and monitoring to be combined within ST 2110 infrastructures.
The wider MediorNet portfolio covers baseband, hybrid and IP deployments through products including MicroN UHD, HorizoN, VirtU and FusioN.
Control across the Live Production Experience will be handled by Riedel’s hi human interface. The browser-based, vendor-agnostic platform provides a common control and orchestration layer for technologies including routers, multiviewers, video and audio mixers and software-defined networks across baseband, IP and hybrid systems.
Audio processing will be provided by SAME Smart Audio & Mixing Engine, a software suite running on commercial off-the-shelf server clusters. Its distributed architecture separates processing resources from individual physical workspaces and supports applications including mixing, monitoring, voice-over, loudness management, signal analysis and in-line processing.
At the network edge, Riedel will premiere the StageLink NSA008-A Network Stream Adapter. The StageLink family provides decentralised audio and intercom connectivity over standard IP networks, with the new model designed for signal distribution within Artist, Bolero and wider IP audio environments.
Riedel is also introducing enhancements to its Bolero wireless intercom portfolio, including 5G filtering for antennas and beltpacks aimed at improving resilience in congested RF environments. Bolero beltpacks will gain an updated hardware design and additional RF-resilient options.
The 165g Bolero Mini, measuring 28mm thick, provides four programmable keys and dedicated volume controls while retaining the RF, audio and Bluetooth capabilities of the wider Bolero platform.
Further developments will be announced for the Artist intercom ecosystem and 1200 Series SmartPanels. Riedel will also give the IBC premiere of its Commentary Control App for the DSP-1216HL Desktop SmartPanel, extending the panel into IP-based commentary applications.
Virtual SmartPanel will meanwhile provide secure intercom access from mobile devices, tablets and web browsers, working alongside Artist, physical SmartPanels and wireless endpoints for fixed, remote and hybrid production.
Another focus will be Easy5G, which is now available as a product for customers and partners wanting to operate their own private 5G networks, following its previous availability as a Riedel managed service.
The modular platform combines the Easy5G core with scalable small-cell base stations and can be operational in under 60 minutes. Dedicated frequencies, configurable uplink and downlink ratios and network slicing are designed to support video, audio, communications and data workflows.
Riedel will additionally show DIVA+, its managed service combining data, intercom, video and audio infrastructure with technologies including Easy5G, cloud media services and centralised control.
Its RefSuite ecosystem for sports officiating, coaching, communications and production will also be on show, combining RefCam, RefBox, RefComms, SidelineComms and RefCloud.
