Lauded as Finland’s premier performing arts school, Lumit moved into a new building with brand-new facilities, featuring a sound system upgrade via a range of Genelec smart active loudspeakers.
Genelec smart active loudspeakers are used to power the school’s four music classrooms and studio, selecting a pair of S360s and a 7380 subwoofer for both the band rehearsal class and the largest music classroom. The S360s are wall-mounted, while the subwoofer is in its own designated position on the floor beneath wall furniture.
In the main band room, a similar setup is connected to the rackmount mixer, with a desktop mixing console in the second rehearsal space.
Two other music rooms, geared to listening rather than performance, use a combination of wall-mounted 8330s and 8340 two-way loudspeakers, complemented by a 7370 subwoofer in each room.
The school’s studio is also home to a pair of 8361 three-way coaxial studio loudspeakers, combined with a 7380 subwoofer.
