An Absen JP8 Pro LED sits at the heart of the 2026 production of Art on Ice across three arenas in Switzerland, enhancing world class figure skating and live music with a multisensory spectacle.
Habbegger worked closely with the production team to ensure that the installation met the technical and aesthetic standards required for the event, with NicLen Switzerland providing the dry hire of the full LED screen system, including Absen LED and Brompton processing for maximised flexibility and creative freedom.
The JP8 Pro created cinematic visuals that amplified the emotional tone of music stars James Bay and Jess Glynne on the main stage, while on the ice, the LED elements created a seamless backdrop for the show’s creative vision.
Andy Ryter, director of sales, Habbegger, commented: “The JP8 Pro delivered beautifully fluid, vibrant imagery that moved naturally with the music and skating, helping to elevate the atmosphere of the show. We were delighted with the outcome and the way the visuals contributed to such a memorable audience experience.
“Art on Ice is a uniquely demanding environment where visuals must perform flawlessly against reflective surfaces, complex lighting and constant motion,” shares Debbie Zheng, Director of AbsenLive. “JP8 Pro was designed precisely for these conditions, delivering the brightness, contrast and image stability needed to maintain clarity for both live audiences and broadcast capture. Even through fast paced scene changes and tightly choreographed transitions, the visuals remained smooth, sharp and completely reliable.”
