Absen’s JP5 Pro LED technology was used to deliver a 448 sq m visual backdrop for TooManyLeftHands & Friends at Copenhagen’s Royal Arena.
The five-hour electronic dance music event marked the biggest headline show for Danish DJ and producer duo Anders K and Martin Nick, known professionally as TooManyLeftHands, and the largest DJ set by a Danish artist in the venue’s history.
AV specialist Profox delivered the technical solution, working with a stage concept devised by Magicbox and Gravity Cph. The show was designed for an audience of 16,000 and required a display system capable of maintaining high-impact visuals across a large arena environment.

Absen’s JP5 Pro rental LED was selected for the main screen, providing a large-format backdrop suited to touring and live events. The product features a 5.2mm pixel pitch, brightness of up to 5,000 nits, 16-bit greyscale, a 7,680Hz refresh rate and 8,500:1 contrast ratio.
The system was used to support DJ close-ups, graphic LED transitions and wider visual content across the full performance, with the screen required to remain stable, colour-accurate on camera and reliable over an extended runtime.

The JP5 Pro’s lightweight design and touring-focused mechanics were also important to the project, supporting a flexible stage layout, fast build and efficient transport.
Mikkel Rodkjær, CEO of Profox, said: “The screen delivered the impact, clarity and consistency we needed in this full-scale arena environment. The whole build-up and show day ran exactly as planned.”
Rasmus Stoltenberg Sørensen, head of LED at Profox, added that Absen’s support and communication were key factors in the delivery of the project.
