Panasonic has announced the first shipment of its new PT-D6000 series. The new DZ models in the range are the first to incorporate 4th generation, single-chip DLP technology that provides between 6 and 6.5k lumen brightness.

The new 6000 series represents a significant redesign of single chip DLP technology. All the models in the PT-D6000 series have a dual lamp system and an auto-cleaning filter to improve the lifespan of the product.
