Wyrestorm bundles tech in to meeting room package

WyreStorm will package together a number of its technologies to create a meeting and huddle room “kit” that it will show at ISE 2017.

The Meeting Room Pack is built around the company’s SW-0501-HDBT 5x1 HDBaseT presentation switcher featuring its ScreenLink screen sharing and collaboration software, supporting wired and wireless screen sharing from up to 26 Windows and Mac laptops/computers simultaneously.

The SW-0501-HDBT offers switching and auto scaling of four HDMI and one VGA sources to the display or projector up to 100m with HDBaseT or the mirrored HDMI output for local connection. The pack includes a WyreStorm in-desk connection plate, 2m and 10m pre-made Cat6 cables for HDBaseT transmissions and a WyreStorm HDMI cables.

Support for 1920x1200p @60Hz, microphone input with phantom power, stereo inputs and auto-mix stereo audio output are included in the SW-0501-HDBT.

ScreenLink collaboration software offers three-step onscreen set-up.  Up to four computers can be displayed at the same time through configuration options that include single, dual and quad-view modes.

The WyreStorm system includes an AMP-001-010 HDBaseT receiver with Class D digital audio amplification for connection to wall or ceiling speakers.  

Control options for the SW-0501-HDBT include front panel, built-in Web User Interface (UI) and CEC support for on/off commands for screens and projectors.  RS-232 inputs on the SW-0501-HDBT connect to the pre-programmed WyreStorm touch screen keypad with the 10m cable included in the Meeting Room Kit. 

The SW-0501-HDBT features IP and RS-232 to manage and control the switcher or external devices, with WyreStorm’s Enado browser-based control system and a wireless router both included in the Meeting Room Kit.  

Users can add their own personal control devices themselves, such as smartphones, tablets or laptops, using in-room QR code scanning or clicking an email or web link.  

The WyreStorm HDBaseT Meeting Room Pack will on show at ISE 2017 and will launch in the first quarter of the year. 

ISE will be held at the RAI exhibition centre in Amsterdam, the Netherlands from February 7 to 10, 2017.
