Advanced Integration Technologies leads AV integration at Abu Dhabi Hospitality Academy
Advanced Integration Technologies has delivered a new AV environment across Abu Dhabi Hospitality Academy - Les Roches, using WyreStorm technology to support podcast production, meeting spaces and boardroom collaboration.

The academy, which opened in September 2024 through a partnership between the Department of Culture and Tourism - Abu Dhabi and Les Roches, occupies a purpose-built four-storey facility in Abu Dhabi.

With no legacy AV infrastructure in place, UAE integrator Advanced Integration Technologies (AIT) designed the systems from the ground up, tailoring the technology to the requirements of individual spaces rather than applying a single standard configuration across the building.

One of the key areas is a dedicated podcast studio for interviews and curriculum-related content creation. The space combines Canon cameras, Shure microphones and other production equipment, with WyreStorm extension and matrix switching technology providing signal distribution and switching within the workflow.

Reliability was a key requirement for the studio, with the supporting infrastructure designed to operate in the background without interrupting recording or production sessions.

The academy’s boardrooms and meeting spaces were designed around a different set of priorities, with users requiring a simpler plug-and-play experience.

WyreStorm presentation switching, wireless presentation and video collaboration systems were integrated alongside Crestron control and camera systems, allowing users to connect and begin presenting or collaborating without installing additional software or configuration files.

Sayed Yammine, general manager at Advanced Integration Technologies, said: “We had a very clear requirement on this project: the technology had to be reliable, easy to use and ready from day one. The solution gave us the confidence to deliver that across very different spaces, from the podcast studio to the boardrooms and meeting areas.”

He said the completed installation had met those requirements across both production-focused and everyday collaboration environments.

The project forms part of the wider technology infrastructure at Abu Dhabi Hospitality Academy - Les Roches, which combines hospitality education with facilities intended to support content creation, teaching and corporate collaboration.
