Vivitek has introduced its DU857 DLP portable projector, including DLP and BrilliantColor technology, enabling the projector to deliver 5,000 lumens of brightness with 4,000 hours of lamp life.
ViviBlack is provided, including a user-controlled enhanced contrast ratio with a user-controlled colour manager allowing for calibration according to the content being displayed.
An on screen display control menu is provided, adding control over viewing options, projector’s status and the adjustment of display features, the projector’s status and adjustment of display features.
A direct power on function is included to automatically put the power on when plugging the power cord into an outlet without pressing the ‘power on’ button.
A quick auto search filtering function is provided to allow users to locate an input signal source (HDMI, VGA etc.), alongside an H/V keystone / four corner geometric adjustment and a 1.5x zoom ratio.
Power USB-A ports are also provided to enable connection of HDMI-based multimedia or wireless collaboration devices such as Vivitek’s NovoConnect range.
Additionally, the DU857 is Crestron RoomView certified for remote control over an IT network, supporting Crestron Roomview, eControl and supporting Connected Extron, AMX SSDP and PJLink Class1.
