Philips enters professional projection market with ProPix Series

Screeneo Innovation, a brand license partner for Philips projectors, has introduced the ProPix series projectors. This launch brings Philips' projection to the business environment.

The flagship ProPix 850 and ProPix 650 use UHP lamps, delivering exceptional 4,000 lumens brightness. Operating at 29 dBA in eco mode, these projectors are a non-intrusive presence in meeting rooms and classrooms. The series achieves a lamp life of up to 10,000 hours in eco mode.

The ProPix 650 features both HDMI and dual VGA inputs, ensuring integration with legacy systems commonly found in educational institutions and established corporate environments. Meanwhile, the ProPix 850's dual HDMI configuration caters to modern digital setups. Both models include RS232 ports for professional AV control systems, USB connectivity, and a 3.5mm audio output for external sound systems.

Both ProPix models are engineered for different installation scenarios, projecting images from 70-in up to 150-in diagonal. With a throw ratio of 1.49:1, they can create a professional 120-in display from just 4 metres distance. The design of 2.5 kg makes them portable, while support for multiple aspect ratios (4:3/16:9/16:10/Native) ensures compatibility with various content formats. Both models feature manual focus adjustment and vertical keystone correction of +/- 40 degrees for image alignment, complemented by a 2-watt internal speaker for audio flexibility.
