Tateside delivers an immersive property experience for Trillium
Tateside redesigned a technically complex sales and marketing suite in London, creating an immersive property experience for homebuyers.

To create a space that communicates a prestigious lifestyle, Tateside delivered a QLab-based show control system that integrates projection, audio, touchscreen operation, and automated door control.

While loudspeakers and amplifiers were already in place at the showroom, the projection, media control, and automation systems needed to be brought in together to create a fully integrated system. Tateside joined the project after earlier attempts had not delivered the experience that the client was looking for.

Five Epson EB-L210SF short-throw projectors were positioned around the room to cover the three walls and the floor. Tateside had to ensure that the positioning of each projector was extremely accurate, as even a small movement could affect the geometry and alignment of the image. On the main wall, Tateside blended two projector outputs to appear as one continuous image.

The integrator also produced custom shrouds to conceal the white projectors in the suite’s dark environment while maintaining sufficient ventilation.

A Mac Studio runs QLab, which allows Tateside to coordinate the five projectors as one sequenced presentation. As an additional video output was required for the floor projector, the team added an NDI decoder into the system, enabling the complete show to be distributed from one playback platform.

Tateside connected the Mac Studio to the room’s existing audio system, allowing the installed loudspeakers, amplifiers, and DSP to be retained.

An OpenAVC control system links the touchscreen with QLab and the other in-room systems, giving staff simple control of the experience as well as access to a separate HDMI input.

When the show concludes, the system sends a command to a WebRelay connected to the concealed door, which automatically opens to reveal the next stage of the customer journey, leading guests into the spa area.

By building and testing the system offsite, Tateside was able to identify and resolve several initial communications and integration issues before installation. The integrator was supported by OpenAVC, who assisted with driver development for Tateside to refine the system in advance for rapid deployment.
