Optoma adds four UST laser projectors

Optoma has launched four new ProScene ultra short throw (UST) laser projectors, the latest to join its DuraCore line up.

The models, unveiled at ISE 2017, are available in Full HD 1080p and WXGA resolutions and are powered by a lamp-free, laser light source with 4000 ANSI lumens.

The 400UST DuraCore series delivers brightness of up to 20,000 hours uninterrupted operation in full brightness mode.

Supporting 24/7 operation and orientation including portrait mode and downward projection, the 400UST series is suitable for signage projects where space or accessibility can be limited, such as shop windows or retail displays. They are independently certified with an IP5X dust resistant rating for reliability.

Weighing 5.6kg, the 400UST projectors can be ceiling mounted centimetres away from the wall or shop window and can project an image size of over 100 inches (254cm).

Interactive models also offer ‘TouchBeam’ finger-touch interactive technology, up to 10 multi touch points for collaborative working.

With Office Viewer functionality built in, presentations can be plugged in and played via the projector’s built-in media player without the need for a laptop or PC.
