Lightware Visual Engineering has opened its latest purpose-built engineering hub in Szeged, Hungary, creating 40 engineering roles and bolstering its R&D capabilities.
The move is part of Lightware’s strategy to keep its development activities within Hungary, where more than 300 of its approximately 400 employees are based.
To celebrate the opening of the Engineering Hub, Lightware also participated in the SZIN Festival, a summer music event in Szeged. The company had a booth, dubbed the Lightware Lounge, where visitors could relax with music, games and giveaways. The initiative was part of Lightware’s efforts to connect with the local community and raise awareness of the company’s presence in the region.
