Matrox ConvertIP encoders/decoders for AV-over-IP networks now shipping

Matrox Video has announced the availability of the ConvertIP standards-based, IPMX-ready encoders and decoders.

The ConvertIP encoders/decoders provide AV systems integrators with AV-over-IP design flexibility to build interoperable, scalable, and cost-efficient AV infrastructures. Featuring multiple connectivity options—including HDBaseT—compressed and uncompressed support, and a fanless design, these standalone devices support lossless, zero-latency 4K signals over 1, 10, and 25 GbE AV-over-IP networks.?

Built on Internet Protocol Media Experience (IPMX), the IPMX-ready ConvertIP encoder/decoder line facilitates the integration of new products and platforms into existing or future networks while supporting 4K60 4:4:4 IP signal transport.

Combining encoder or decoder functionality on compact, PoE+-powered devices further simplifies integration efforts, while ConvertIP’s fanless and redundant design ensures reliable 24/7 operation across a wide range of AV/IT environments.
