Lightware launches Cable-PopUp and new USB-C cables

Lightware has expanded its cable product range with its Cable-PopUp and two newly launched USB-C cables.

Cable PopUp is designed for managing cables in conference rooms and workspaces, especially environments where BYOD devices need to be connected temporarily.

The device provides an organised method to access connections when needed, and hides them away when not in use, with a ‘push to open’ mechanism.

Caps labelled USB-C, HDMI and Ethernet are included, with an additional blank cap which can be customised based on user requirements.

The new active optical USB-C cables are designed to handle high-speed data and power delivery over longer distances, with the CAB-USBC-AOC800E clocking in at eight metres long, whilst the CAB USBC-AOC1000E measures 9.8 metres. Both models support USB 3.2 Gen 1x1, with data transfer speeds up to 5Gbps, two-lane HBR3 DisplayPort Alternate Mode, and 60W charging.

Both models feature a screw lock USB-C connector for a reliable connection to Lightware’s Taurus products, as well as preventing accidental disconnections during use.
