A HDBaseT Extender for HDMI has been launched by LINDY Electronics enabling uncompressed HDMI signals to be sent up to 100m away using standard network cable.
With the extender’s plug and play operation the user only needs to connect the transmitter into the HDMI source, and the receiver to the display and connect the two units using CAT6 cable.
Supplied infrared extension cables connect to the transmitter and receiver units extending IR signals and allowing equipment to be controlled up to 100m away. An integrated 2 port Ethernet hub allows for PC/MAC, NAS and other equipment to be connected over the same network cable.
