Bosch has introduced Remote Services for fire panels, an IP-based system for remote diagnostics and remote maintenance.
The modular system has three components. Its foundation is formed by Remote Connect, a secure internet connection between the system integrator and the client, via Bosch Security Servers.
Remote Connect is configured remotely and can be integrated into existing Bosch systems. Via the software RPS (Remote Programming Software) Remote Connect can carry out the programming and updates for the fire alarm panel independently of the location. The second two components are Remote Maintenance and Remote Alert.
Remote Maintenance collects and analyses real-time fire system data for predictive maintenance and detecting errors before they can cause downtime or damage. Remote Alert sends customised text messages and email alert notifications directly from the panel to the service team.
