LG launches 5MP diagnostic monitor for breast imaging

LG Electronics has released its 21HQ613D-B diagnostic monitor, designed for digital mammography and digital breast tomosynthesis.

The monitor is a 21.3-in five-megapixel IPS diagnostic monitor, designed to deliver radiological images and maintain image quality through its internal front calibration sensor and calibration software.

The 21HQ613D-B provides a resolution of 2,048x2,560, a luminance of 1100cd/m² and a contrast ratio of 1800:1.

The diagnostic monitor also features an internal front sensor that removes the need for an external calibration device, including LG Calibration Studio medical software to conduct DICOM calibration and quality assurance tests that comply with international quality control standards for medical monitors.

Daisy-chaining is also supported via DisplayPort connection, as well as a customisable stand with adjustable tilt, height, swivel, and bi-directional pivoting functionality.
