Legrand reveals line up for InfoComm with heavy focus on collaboration

Legrand | AV is showing products from its C2G, Chief, Connectrac, Da-Lite, Luxul, Middle Atlantic, Vaddio, and Wiremold brands on stand W903 at InfoComm 2022 in Las Vegas.

Middle Atlantic is demonstrating its new Forum Display Stand that is suited to open or closed meeting spaces. The Forum Display Stand includes a Chief Fusion mount that supports up to a 75-in display and has equipment mounting options, including Lever Lock for videoconferencing components. An included display shroud is fitted with acoustic fabric to keep the noise levels and audio reverberation to a minimum.

Chief is showing monitor and display mounts, carts, and kiosks for collaboration and will stage live demonstrations of the new TiLED Web Tool for visualisation and customisation of video wall designs. Earlier this year, Chief introduced the TiLED i-Style direct view LED wall mounting system for Samsung IER and Unilumin USLIM displays. The line will now include mounts for Sony Crystal and LG Ultra Slim Series dvLED displays. Like the existing TiLED H-Style dvLED Wall Mounting Systems, i-Style is a modular mounting system featuring X-, Y-, Z-axis adjustment to create flat dvLED video walls. New i-Style mounts feature left, middle, and right structural components that are combined to create video walls. Components can be mixed and matched.

C2G is sharing the latest additions to its HDMI, USB-C, and HDBaseT portfolios. This includes its Retractable Universal 4K HDMI Adapter Ring featuring BioCote antimicrobial product protection. The ring includes adapters to connect almost any device to an in-room display while supporting video resolutions up to 4K. The adapter rings feature colour-coded HDMI-to-DisplayPort, Mini DisplayPort, USB-C, VGA, and Lightning adapters. The adapter ring can be attached directly to an HDMI cable, or a retractable mount version is available that extends to 1.5m. Custom adapter configurations are also available. The company is also showing its USB-C-enabled docking stations, and HDMI cables, extenders, transmitters and receivers, distribution amplifier splitters, and switches.

Legrand is also showing how Connectrac Under-Carpet Raceway can conceal cables for power and distribution while enabling mid-room floor-based connections. The Under-Carpet Raceway kit includes complete wireway, MDF ramps, and power systems as well as accessories to locate power and data connections where they are needed. The wireway channel is large enough for power and four CAT-6 cables. Wiremold's cable management products are also on display.

Da-Lite's is showing its SightLine cable drop feature. Available as an option with the company's Tensioned Advantage and Advantage electric screens, SightLine gives the impression of a floating screen. It removes the need for the traditional black border above the projection screen, the cables can accommodate drop distances up to 1.8m between the ceiling and the top of the screen.

Luxul is showing its latest range of AV switches, including the SW series managed gigabit switches and will be delivering free networking training at the stand. The 10-minute training presentations will be conducted hourly.

Vaddio is showing its expanded AV-over-IP line of products featuring Dante networked audio. New products include EasyIP Ceiling Speaker D, EasyIP AMP D, and EasyIP CeilingMIC/AMP D. In addition, the company will debut its IntelliSHOT-M ePTZ camera, designed for Microsoft Teams Rooms certified deployments. It features customisable auto-framing/tracking, 30x zoom, professional-grade image quality and remote management.
