Kraftwerk Living Technologies (KLT) has introduced Magnos, the world’s first sound-transparent passive 3D LED display system.
By combining sound-transparent LED screen architecture with passive 3D stereo visualisation, Magnos overcomes the limitations of current traditional LED walls in active 3D mode which require costly, fragile shutter glasses and complex synchronisation. Projection-based passive systems, meanwhile, cannot match LED in brightness and contrast, and often limit the integration of sound and effects.
Magnos merges LED’s unmatched brightness and resolution with acoustic transparency and the simplicity of passive 3D.
At its core is a dual LED display system with acoustically transparent perforations. This design allows speakers, lighting, and effects to be placed directly behind the screen, ensuring AV integration and unlocking new creative possibilities.
A variant with an even finer pixel pitch is currently in development and will be available in the first half of next year, offering clarity and flexibility for demanding visual environments and applications.
