Haivision has unveiled its Haivision Play Pro mobile player, created by the developers of the SRT protocol.
The Haivision Play Pro mobile player is available for iOS devices in the App Store, with users able to watch and monitor SRT video streams using the SRT protocol on mobile devices.
Users can monitor contribution streams and view return feeds in the field, both live to air streams, feeds supporting remote interviews or teleprompter feeds directly.
The SRT stream can be tuned to and can be used to create and save channel lists that are able to be shared with team members.
Support for H.264 and HEVC playback is supported, along with encrypted SRT, UDP unicast or multicast and HLS streams up to 4K/UHD 2160p60.
