Extron has announced the release of its DTP2 R 211 HDCP 2.2 compliant 4K/60 4:4:4 DTP2 twisted pair HDMI receiver.
The DTP2 R 211 supports transmission of HDMI and multichannel audio as well as bidirectional RS-232 and IR signals up to 100 metres over a shielded CATx cable.
The receiver accommodates the full Gbps data rate of HDMI 2.0b and supports video resolutions up to 4K/60 at 4:4:4 colour sampling, with the stereo output being selectable between de-embedded or pass-through analogue audio.
The DTP2 R 211 also features remote power capability, deep colour up to 12-bit, CEC pass-through and embedded HD lossless audio formats.
HDMI audio is also available as a balanced or unbalanced analogue stereo signal.
The DTP2 R 211 can also be integrated with an Extron IN1800 series seamless switcher or another DTP-enabled product to support displays and output devices at remote locations.
