Extron has introduced its DSC 12G HAD and DSC HD 12G A 4K/60 scalers, designed to streamline SDI and HDMI workflows in AV, broadcast, and production environments.
The new scalers support SDI to HDMI or HDMI to SDI conversion using Extron’s Vector 4K scaling technology.
The DSC 12GD A can convert 12G SDI, 6G SDI, 3G SDI, and HD SDI signals into HDMI output, whilst the DSC HD 12G A converts HDMI signals into a 12G SDI, 6G SDI, 3G SDI, and HD SDI formats.
Both video scalers include audio embedding and de embedding features, as well as transitions for upstream switching, aspect ratio control, and the ability to display logo images.
Front panel controls, on screen menus, Ethernet and USB configuration, EDID management tools, internal test patterns, and one-in half rack enclosures for integration into any system design.
