Cisco is making video use more accessible for businesses, releasing a range of products specifically designed to eliminate the need for specialist contractors and cut production and distribution costs.
The new offerings are designed to improve business collaboration and communication and provide companies with new ways to create and consume video across the enterprise.
Cisco has introduced a 47” telepresence endpoint, a new user interface and a line of Unified IP Phones with built in cameras.
For video production, the company has introduced TelePresence Content Server 5.0 recording and streaming solution. Show and Share is Cisco’s enterprise webcasting and video sharing platform that Is available in English, French and Spanish.
Furthermore, the Cisco MXE 3500 media experience engine is a network appliance that, combined with the MXE 5600, produces media transformation services. New MXE 3500 features include integration of Cisco Pulse analytics capabilities for video searches. This provides automatic tagging of words and speakers so content segments can be easily found.
