Christie bolsters Mirage with six new models

Christie has added six models to its Mirage Series 3D DLP projector line in a bid to push 3D into new markets.

The new projectors are compatible with current 3D standards and are designed for applications such as museums, education and rental/staging.

The three-chip DLP projectors feature a new dual-input image processor and a range of input options to integrate with various 3D signals and formats. The series is ready for Blu-ray 3D video, PS3 and other gaming consoles and meets the mandatory 3D spec for HDMI v1.4a. Models can be combined with embedded Christie TwistT for image warping and edge-blending, and various specifically designed lenses.

The Mirage M Series lineup includes the DS+6K-M; DS+10K-M; HD6K-M; HD10K-M; WU7K-M and the WU12K-M projectors. The models come in SXGA+ (4:3), HD (16:9) and WUXGA (16:10) resolution.

Christie offers an upgrade path for its mid to high-end 3-chip DLP projectors with the Mirage M Series advanced 3D functionality.
