Lecture capture and recording system provider Cattura Video has selected Magewell’s Pro Capture PCIe cards for its CaptureCast appliances.
Cattura's CaptureCast platform combines software and hardware to offer an open recording and live streaming system that integrates with a number of video management and learning management systems. CaptureCast systems are used in classrooms, auditoriums, medical training facilities and courtrooms.
Magewell Pro Capture cards have Linux, Windows and Mac drivers and automatic input detection. They come in a range of single and multi-channel models with a number of input options.
The cards are now used in Cattura's CaptureCast Pro lecture capture appliances, which can record up to six HD video sources simultaneously. Up to three Magewell cards are used in each CaptureCast Pro system. A single Magewell card is used in each unit of Cattura's smaller form factor CaptureCast Slim family, with a choice of input type. Cattura also specifies Magewell cards for CaptureCast DIY configurations, which let customers deploy CaptureCast software on their own existing computer hardware.
Magewell's capture and output products will be shown on stand 821 at InfoComm 2017 (June 14-16 in Orlando, USA).
