Canon expands LV portable projector range

Canon Europe has announced the expansion of its range of LV portable lamp-based projectors with the LV-WU360, LV-WX370 and LV-X350.

The LV-WU360, LV-WX370 and LV-X350 produce a range of resolutions from WUXGA at 1920 x 1200, WXGA at 1280 x 800 and XGA at 1024 x 768, with the LV-WU360 being Canon’s first portable model capable of WUXGA resolution.

The projectors offer a range of connectivity options from the control terminal, including LAN, two different types of USB and two HDMI ports.

The projectors have a projection range of 30-in to 300-in, with a range of image adjustment features including geometry correction and automatic keystone adjustment with a manual setting for four-corner keystone correction.

3500 to 3700 lumens can be produced, using three LCD panels to produce 10-bit colours and featuring a micro-lens to boost brightness of the light.

Content can be projected if the connected laptop has no video output terminal or from a memory stick without the need for a laptop, with audio output made possible directly from the projector via a 10W speaker.

All three projectors in the LV series feature a three-year return-to-base warranty and a free lamp replacement promotion, offering up to three replacement lamps within a three year period subject to registration.
