BrightSign has joined forces with Onelan in a move that will see integration between its Series 3 and 2 players and the Onelan CMS 3.0.
BrightSign players now have access to the enterprise features of the Onelan CMS, including management and control from a central location.
The CMS offers on-premise or cloud hosting and is scalable to more than 50,000 players. It is suitable for large retail networks and uses a ‘Store and Forward’ content-delivery mechanism so that content will be played even if the internet connection is lost.
Metadata tagging can be used within a retail network to hyper localise based on any number of different tags. This allows local content to be delivered from a central location. The CMS includes the ability to maintain, monitor and remotely configure all players.
Onelan will showcases its CMS running on BrightSign Series 3 players at ISE 2017, from February 7 to 10 at the RAI, Amsterdam on stand 8-F275.
