Broadcast Pix to launch BPswitch IX at NAB 2019

Broadcast Pix will introduce its latest model of the BPswitch integrated production switcher series: BPswitch IX.

BPswitch IX features remote cameras that are switched from a central control room, as well as two SDI/HDMI inputs, including one analogue input for legacy sources.

The switcher is able to receive up to six IP camera feeds.

The native 1080p/60 system integrates MPEG-2 and H.264 in the same production, providing SDI, HDMI, analogue and streaming outputs.

The switcher also features eight channels of clips and graphics, as well as three keyers with DVEs.

NewBlueNTX multi-layer 3D motion graphics CG is included, featuring templates to simplify lower-thirds, bugs, animations, rolls, crawls and effects.

Other workflow tools are included, such as program recording, clip and graphic stores, file-based macros, ClearKey chromakey and Virtual Studios virtual sets as well as BPview multi-view.

The BPswitch IX is compatible with the Broadcast Pix Commander touchscreen control interface, allowing the BPswitch IX to allow browser based control with full motion video, as well as access to sources and workflow tools using a mobile device and a standard internet connection.

To promote the system, Broadcast pix will give away a free BPswitch IX with camera control at NAB 2019.

NAB 2019 will run at the Las Vegas Convention Centre from April 8-11 2019.
