Audio-Technica launches network ceiling speakers for meeting spaces
Audio-Technica has introduced the ATSP-30 network ceiling speaker series, designed for integrated AV systems in meeting and collaboration spaces.

The range includes two models: the ATSP-30LP, which supports Audio-Technica Link, and the ATSP-30DP, which supports Dante. The speakers are aimed at small- to medium-sized rooms requiring intelligible speech reinforcement, multimedia playback and background music.

The ATSP-30 speakers are sold in pairs, with one active and one passive unit, and are designed for flush mounting in drop or hard ceilings. They provide 140-degree coverage and full-range audio in a low-profile format.

The series integrates with Audio-Technica’s ATDM digital SmartMixer platform and compatible microphones, allowing the speakers to form part of a networked audio ecosystem over Cat5e or better cabling. Audio-Technica said this approach can reduce installation complexity compared with traditional analogue systems.

Multiple speaker pairs can be deployed with independent signal routing, supporting zone-based audio control across different room layouts or divisible spaces.

The speakers include onboard DSP, with EQ, delay and presets configurable through the mixer interface or Dante software. EASE compatibility and Audio-Technica’s Speaker Layout Tool are also available to support planning and system optimisation.
