Ambient System announces partnership with Swedish Transport Administration
Public address and voice alarm systems provider, Ambient System, has announced a major agreement with the Swedish Transport Administration (TRVT) to modernise analogue sound systems in Swedish railway stations.

The project aims to focus on improving passenger safety and communication while minimising noise pollution for surrounding communities.

This long-term framework agreement will see Ambient System provide smartVES public address systems, EN54 certified loudspeakers and amplifier modules for platform displays and railway station clocks. The system is designed to withstand the Swedish climate as well as the regular demands of railway platform environments.

The system will feature intelligent sound level control which automatically adjusts the volume of announcements to the ambient noise level, ensuring that announcements are audible to passengers without disturbing the surrounding community.

The system also includes remote diagnostics and self-test functions, allowint the TRVT to monitor and maintain the system from a central location.

The project is currently being implemented under the framework agreement.

Adrian Zawistowski, sales director, Ambient System, commented: “We are pleased to be working with TRVT on this important project.

“Our advanced solution for station and platform sound systems will provide passengers with clear and reliable communication while minimizing noise for nearby residents.”
