Loudspeaker manufacturer 1 Sound is to show its new 3D audio design and prediction software, called Auralis, for the first time at ISE 2024 in Barcelona
Auralis is a 3D software application that is a multipurpose sound design tool that enables precise, high-resolution, full-colour audio predictions of a loudspeaker design in a three-dimensional space.
With Auralis, users can import 27 different types of files, including SketchUp (SKP) and AutoCAD (DXF) files, or create their own three-dimensional space.
Auralis is streamlined and straightforward with clear direction to build or import a space, and adjust the system’s mechanical information with all 1 Sound rigging accessories. With Auralis, users can put together a line array using 1 Sound’s Tower Series, for example, and automatically splay for uniform coverage, giving a quick and accurate place to start a system optimisation.
From there, users can see 3D acoustical mapping, SPL predictions, and measure phase coherency and off-axis response. One of the newer features Auralis will have is to generate customisable reports with design photos, notes, and all the applicable information saving time and putting together a detailed, impactful report that is visually appealing and easy to read.
1 Sound will be announcing Auralis and the application's future release date at ISE. They will be presenting demonstrations of the software’s beta version at their stand #7J420 in Hall 7.
